| Signing Up: | |
| | Signing up is simple. Click on the sign up link and you'll be taken to
the signup page. You need to select a username and password and enter your email address
(which we won't ever give to anyone or use to sell stuff to you). Click the "Sign Up" button
and voila, you're done! Assuming that no one else is already using that username. |
| Logging In: | |
| | Well this is pretty obvious. On the main page enter your username
and password and click the login button. If you'd like it to be even easier the next time check the
"remember me" button and we'll put a cookie on your computer that'll automatically log you in when
you come back. |
| Using the Training Log: | |
| | Your training log can be accessed from either of two locations.
You must log in, of course. The first is by clicking the "training log" link in the Main section. This will
take you to the training log page which contains a place to add a workout, a view of the current week's
workouts, a view of the current week's scheduled workouts, and a way to see different reports of past
workouts.
The Second is by including the training log module on your My Inner Athlete home page. See below for more on this
topic.
On the training log page adding a workout is pretty easy. Enter a date (yyyy-mm-dd format), select the type of workout, enter a distance
and/or time (neither is required), and add a comment if you wish. Click the "addworkout" button and you're
done. It'll appear in the weekly workout section.
If you need to edit an already entered workout, you can click the "edit" link for workout appearing in
the current weekl's view. Or you can do an individual workout report. Select the appropriate time period for the workout
you need to modify, and click the "Modify" link on the listed workout.
To see reports of past workouts in the last box on the page. Choose a starting and ending dating
(yyyy-mm-dd format), a workout type, and the report type. The possible types are: Individual workouts which
will list every workout between the dates entered and of the type specified. Calendar format will show a
month calendar which each workout on the correct day. The summary selection will give you time and mileage
totals of each type of workout for each week, month, or year. |
| Using the Heart Rate Zone Calculator: | |
| |
The heart rate zone calculator will help you calculate the correct training zones for you based on your age,
resting heart rate, or one of several well known tests. It is one of the numerous tools from InnerAthlete to help you maximize your training.

| Finding a Trainer: | |
| | Inner Athlete makes it easy for you to find a personal trainer or coach. The
link to the "Find Trainer" page is in the orange sub-menu under both the "Main" tab and the "Training" tab.
When you're on the page you can search for a trainer or coach by a number of different criteria. Simply
enter the criteria you'd like to search for in a personal trainer: Name, city, area code, certifications, State,
and/or specialty and click the search button. You'll be given a list of trainers that match your criteria
with a link for each that will give you more detailed information about that fitness professional. |
